Total Tariffs for CCP ( China Communist Party ) Reach 245%, Trump Wants to Blockade the Chinese Communist Party Government

On Tuesday (April 15), according to reliable sources, the White House not only plans to block the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) with tariffs, but will also rally more than 70 global trading partners to isolate China! President Donald Trump firmly stated that this is not just about tariffs, but requires countries in the world to choose: stand with the United States, or stand with the CCP.

On Wednesday (16/4/2025), US President Donald Trump attended trade talks between US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, and a delegation from Japan. Trump is using tariffs as a powerful weapon to “Make America Great Again”.

NTD White House correspondent Tao Ming reported: “Today, the White House specifically emphasized the imposition of ‘equivalent tariffs’ on the CCP, which are on top of existing fentanyl tariffs, plus tariffs imposed by the Trump and Biden administrations under Article 301. Depending on the type of product, these tariffs range from 7.5% to 100%. Since these products are not exempt from either the fentanyl tariffs or the Trump equivalent tariffs, the combined total tariffs imposed by the US on Chinese products amount to 245%.”

The White House statement also detailed the CCP’s unfair trade practices against the US. A few months ago, the CCP banned exports of critical materials such as gallium, germanium, antimony, and others that have military uses.

This week, the CCP again suspended exports of six types of rare earth metals and rare earth magnets, in an effort to disrupt global supply chains in the automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, and military industries.

Facing the CCP’s hegemony, Trump is using tariffs to isolate the CCP globally.

According to The Washington Post, Trump’s trade team is negotiating with more than 70 countries, with the White House’s strict requirements: if these countries want to get tariff relief from the US, they must:

* Prevent the CCP from smuggling goods through them into the US to avoid tariffs.

* Reject cheap Chinese industrial products from flooding the market (dumping).

* Prohibit China from setting up factories in their territory to export to the US The Trump administration’s tough stance on China is nothing new.

Last week, Stephen Miller, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff, posted on social media about Trump’s overall strategy for reforming the unequal global trade, including isolating the CCP politically and economically on the international stage.

The international community is now beginning to realize the CCP’s ambition to dominate the world, including monopolizing shipping, logistics, and shipbuilding.

The US Trade Representative also shared a report from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) on Wednesday showing that Chinese-built ships now account for 53.3% of the global shipbuilding industry, while the US only accounts for 0.1%.

Meanwhile, a chart from the Financial Times shows that since 2005—and especially since 2021—the CCP has been aggressively grabbing market share in the world’s shipbuilding industry.
