Legal Experts Reveal Xi Jinping's Four Latest Instructions to Deal with Trump
As Trump returns to the White House, US-China relations are back in the global spotlight, and the second round of tariff wars between the two countries has officially begun.
Australian-based legal expert Yuan Hongbing revealed that based on information from Beijing's political circles, Xi Jinping has issued four new instructions on China-US relations to deal with Trump. However, officials within the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) government system themselves are not optimistic about the directives.
According to Yuan Hongbing, the day before Trump was inaugurated, the Director of the CCP's Foreign Affairs Office, Wang Yi, conveyed Xi Jinping's instructions to all units dealing with foreign affairs. The first instruction was related to the Russia-Ukraine ceasefire issue.
Yuan Hongbing explained that Wang Yi stated that based on various sources of information, Putin is very keen to establish close relations with Trump. In fact, Putin has sent messages through Russian channels to express his admiration for Trump. Putin also tried to get closer to Trump ideologically and in terms of values and praised Trump's attitude in correcting extreme policies.
However, Beijing officials believe that this is just a daydream because the US will not agree to such conditions.
Xi Jinping's second instruction: Panama Canal Issue
Panamanian President Jose Raul Mulino, after meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on February 2, announced that his country was withdrawing from the “Belt and Road” initiative and affirmed its pro-American stance. Yuan Hongbing believes that this is a delaying tactic by the CCP to make Panama voluntarily pretend to withdraw in order to deceive the US.
According to Yuan Hongbing, the CCP estimates that Panama will not be able to withstand US pressure. Therefore, Xi Jinping, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, advised the Panamanian President to voluntarily issue a statement that they will not renew the “Belt and Road” agreement. This tactic aims to relieve US pressure and maintain the status quo on the Panama Canal, whose entrance and exit are currently controlled by two Hong Kong companies owned by Li Ka-shing.
However, Bloomberg reported on February 4 that the Panamanian government is considering canceling the contract held by Hutchison Ports PPC, a company owned by Hutchison Whampoa.
Yuan Hongbing also revealed that Xi Jinping instructed Chinese and Hong Kong companies investing in Panama to allocate special funds to mobilize anti-US hegemony social movements. In fact, according to sources in Beijing, someone can be paid less than US$100 to join a street demonstration.
Another instruction was that if the US was forced to use military force to change the situation at the Panama Canal, this could actually damage the US's international reputation.
Third instruction: Propaganda Campaign against Taiwan
Xi Jinping's third instruction was to seize every opportunity to shake Taiwan's trust in the US, especially if Trump triggers a semiconductor trade war with Taiwan. Xi Jinping ordered all Chinese propaganda agencies and the united front to stir up public opinion in Taiwan to create dissatisfaction with the US.
Fourth Instruction: Cover Up Information About the Wuhan Lab
On the second or third day after Trump took office, the Chinese government issued an order to all staff at the Wuhan Institute of Virology to sign a confidentiality agreement prohibiting them from disclosing any information to anyone, including their families. Failure to do so would result in prosecution under military law.
According to Yuan Hongbing, the CCP is very worried that the US will continue to investigate the origins of the COVID-19 virus. Sources in the Beijing government said that the virus leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, but after the incident occurred, Xi Jinping himself ordered that this information be kept under wraps and not be released to the outside world until after the Chinese New Year celebrations. However, this actually caused a global pandemic.
