Deadly Virus Soars Until High Fever Continues, Resident Video: Long Queue at Funeral Home,

As Chinese New Year approaches, multiple viruses spread simultaneously in China, causing a pandemic surge that continues to expand and fuel public concern. “I don't want to sensationalize, but these children who get the flu are having seizures because of the high fever.

"We must be alert to this deadly disease, namely acute necrotizing encephalitis," said pediatrician in China, Dr. Mom. Recently, several children in various regions in China were reported to have died from “acute necrotizing encephalitis”.

On January 14, a young blogger revealed that the flu had claimed the life of her child. Seven days after losing her child, she still feels unspeakable grief. In the comments column, many netizens revealed similar cases of children dying due to flu.

On the other hand, many infected adults experience rapidly worsening conditions and even die.

In Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, a 30-year-old woman surnamed Xie developed a fever on January 11. When he was taken to hospital on January 12, doctors diagnosed him with “white lung” (a serious condition resulting from lung damage). After being transferred to another hospital, he received a critical condition notice. On January 13, he was declared dead due to total organ failure.

“This flu wave is really very severe. Many people are affected. The high fever did not subside even though he had taken various medicines. This must be taken seriously. "A severe flu can cause death," said Dr. Jiang Chenyen, ENT Specialist in China.

Since October 2024, the pandemic in China has reached its peak again. Authorities initially said the causes were flu viruses, mycoplasma pneumonia, adenovirus and human metapneumovirus. However, they later stated that 99% of infections were due to H1N1 flu.

On January 12, Wang Liping, a researcher from the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, stated that the flu that is currently hitting is the H1N1 flu subtype.

However, virus experts consider the high death toll from H1N1 flu in China to be quite rare, and suspect the Chinese government is hiding the real facts.

“Cases of necrotic encephalitis due to H1N1 flu are very rare. I suspect that this case is more likely to be caused by a bird flu infection that is transmitted to humans, especially by highly pathogenic bird flu viruses such as H5N6 or H5N1. "This virus is more likely to cause flu-related encephalitis like this," said Dr. Lin Xiaoxu, US Virologist.

Recently, residents from Nantong, Jiangsu, and Changsha, Hunan, posted videos showing funeral homes in their areas filled with long queues, a truly shocking sight. However, the authorities did not comment on this report, so its veracity still requires further verification.

A doctor working in the field of pandemic surveillance in China revealed to the Epoch Times on January 11 that the H5N1 bird flu virus is spreading in China, and he has encountered many such cases.

Previously, Shanghai had announced a temporary suspension of live poultry trade, sparking public concern.

“I am really worried that the CCP government is hiding the situation regarding bird flu infections in humans. "This is very worrying, and the world must pay more attention to this problem," said Dr. Lin Xiaoxu. (Hui)
